If its XC then yeah I guess your friend will be slowing you down. If its all about the DH then aslong as you all get armoured up you'll have hours of fun on the trails everyday! Most of the DH tracks arent too scary, and there not really that busy either so theres plenty of passing places to stop n catch up or take a break. -
