| Just turned 41 and loving my biking more than ever... Have been into Mountain biking since the days of Tomac, Jason Mccroy ( RIP) and Tim Gould, remember the first Rockshox and V brakes. Always raced xc for the fun. But of late have got into the downhill scene. Me and my bike arnt really up to it but giving it a go in my own way. Really into the photography ( worked in the trade for 16 years ) so only natural to combine the two. You will find me and my partner Jo at most south west races. Entered my first dh race on HSD at Gawton recently...didnt mind almost coming last. I beat my first run time by 10 secs and well enjoyed it.rnSee me with the camera or chickening out a sketchy run on my xc specialized, say hi... | |

Hi Si,
Enjoy the weekend?! And more importantly did you get any good photos? My stylish trackstand right in front of you :-) Funny!

it wasn't as good as last year.. but i still loved it. I found it was a fair bit harder and seemed it wasn't prepared for quite as much.. still keen for next years though!!
i'll have a gander through the pictures now.

Hi Si! How's it going?
I'm hoping you've got some awesome pictures again of the UDHC this year?

Ha ha, talent?! I'm just blagging it :-) I really want a decent result at the urban though, doing some practice this weekend. I'm not 100% about my attendance at rnd2, may be quite hungover... Probably just be watching the racing!

Ahh that sucks! My runs weren't too great, but I did have a laugh which is the main thing :-) If you're going to switch to a single ring on the front and drop the mech you should check out superstar components website, they do super cheap chain devices for XC use or more DH friendly one for about £30. You going to be riding/photographing at the urban in plymouth? If you've got any decent pics of me and the boyos i'd appreciate it if you could e-mail me some. The Mondraker is a bit of a beast, now i've got to match its ability to go fast :-P
