We all have to start somewhere! If you fancy hooking up then we can arrange something, it's better to be shown around at wharncliffe as the tracks are hard to find for first timers, we could also warm up at grenoside to get you used to the bike etc? Head over to my site (www.disfunktional-dirt.co.uk) and we can sort something on the forum. Rich

I've just noticed your local is Dalby. Have you ever been to wykeham forest which is more or less next to Dalby? There used to be a couple of good tracks in there and one they used to hold races on, maybe worth having a look up there for something more local...

Hey dude how are you. Wharncliffe is awesome for downhill and should be ok for you to start out if you are comfortable on your bike. What sort of previous experience do you have on the bike? i wouldn't want you to turn up and be out of your depth. Theres also grenoside woods which would be good to get a feel for the bike, the tracks are nowhere near as steep and technical but good to get the basics on.
