I've made it to Hamsterley. It's a great place. I spent most time on the skills loop as there is enough fun to be had there. It's a great place shame the shop/Cafe service isn't as good as the tails they've got there.

No mate I didn't. I got the bike onto the car and drove 20yards up the street (I live in shields) and then the alternator pulley fell off! So that killed my morning and by the time it was fixed it was too late to head down to Hamsterley. It's gonna be a while before I get the chance now - about to have a baby and this was my last bid for freedom!
Even worse was I had to spend £200 getting the car fixed and rather have spent the cash on the bike but hey that's life. -
