| Hey, I'm John, 31 from Tyne and Wear. I'm a moderator on here so you may have noticed me around the place. If I left a message on your board or winged at you about something it's nothing personal. I'm just doing my job. When I'm not bugging people about this and that I deal with site admin jobs like keeping the forum tidy and approving all the stuff that is uploaded to the site. As a kid I was always on my bike. While the other kids were playing football and swapping stickers I was out blasting about on the bmx track. I had one of those Raleigh Burners. Damn thing was heavy as hell and way to big for me really. Not exactly a serious bike but then I didn't even know what a decent bike was back then. Later on I tried to do a bit of mountain biking but other things grabbed my attention like girls and drinking in the park. Around 2007 I managed to get back on two wheels and started exploring the world of mtb. Like a lot of people I went for an entry level hardtail but now I ride a Felt All-Mountain full suss bike. It'll do just about everything and is a great all-rounder. 2010 has been a good year for me. My riding has really come on. I seem to be getting the hang of jumping and drop-offs and I'm pretty excited to keep pushing my ability. I live 15 mins from Chopwell by car so I can often be found riding round and round Chopwell Woods, down the Powerline trail and back round again. Look out for me and Katie there with our his and hers matching bikes... Super cool we are. | |

Get rid of the wheel reflectors, that should save a fer lbs. Are they dual ply tyres then? It's a longer travel bike than the felt was and going from the Shred to that is a big change. Took me a while to get used to the enduro but now I love it.

What's the new bike like then? Have you given it a proper test yet?

Did you do it yourself or did you take them somewhere?
Yeah, I embarrassed him on the hills. He says I wont do it again but I will :)
