  The skewer fitted absolutly fine and is solid and secure. Not 100% my FSRxc is exactly the same as the stumpy but I can't see it being a problem to be honest.

  The seller is helping me get it looked at on the warranty which is outstanding. Evans cycles mechanic wouldn't touch it but said probably needed new piston. dunno if I'll find out what the actual fault was. thanks for the info though.

  cheers mate been here bout 6 months tho ,see your from brighouse am just up road in wyke, cheers for 10 on my bike and 10 for backdrop its quite local for us its at top of stanedge near marsden part of pennine bridleway i did it as part of diggle jiggle route found on here the views were very special that day loads of snow and clear skies might see you around happy cycling
