Oh really pleased you got your bike sorted. It sounded exactly as mine. It drove me nuts to. I think the dropout rubs on the frame and its metal to metal. Enjoy riding it now its creak free :-)

oh i see ! sa i would love to take the bike to slovakia some time, sky europe only charged £35 each way for a bike but now they have gone bankrupt and everybody else seems quite expensive ! ime always out riding pal, i get to scotland maybe 1 or 2 times a month, and living in whitehaven ime close to the lake district mountains and we have plenty of tracks up there in the forestry, plus i have a little playground in some woods that are 2 mins walk from my house, where i have built loads of jumps and drops and a few mini DH runs, they are just short 45 second runs but it means ive always somewhere to play so i get out riding maybe 5 or 6 days a week, ! would be out 7 but the misses complains !! only 9 hours from calais ?? thats ok, i know when mira's sister drove here from slovakia it was like 30 hours driving !
