Hi
Right. I did indeed hit Glentress yesterday and it was really good. It was a tad wet in a couple of places but that will dry out very quickly with a few dry days i am sure. Just a few small puddles but other than that it was dry else where. My back wheel lost traction while goin up the rock steps but i would hve expected that anyway. Spooky woods was good, a bit wet as you go into the woods for the last time at the top but again there is always a puddle there even if it has been dry for a good week or so and there is almost always a way around it. Didn't go round the black as we were only there for half a day but all in all it is looking like it could be really good. So hope you have a good trip when you do come up and hope this is useful.
P.S. it really depends on what the weather is like the week or so before weather the ground will be wet or not but dont worry about the ground washing away if it has been wet cause it just doesn't happen at Glentress. Its awesome and great fun!!

Hi fella, thanks for rating the bike. Not that I'm overly arsed about that Bike of the Day stuff!
I'm exactly the same, not a Trek fan at all really but fell in love with these when they were first released. Anyway, walked into the shop to buy an Intense frame and sort a custom build and 30 mins later rode out on this! Just hard to walk past it on looks alone, even more so with the standard equipment they have. Got £400 knocked off the price even when they were still pretty new so it cost me £3400, having said that I've spent a lot on it since. The Intense build was close to £7k for the same spec so it even seemed like a bargain to the wife, a result in its self!
