Hiya Man - My Avids came from my bro, I guess they were about £90 185mm front and £70 160mm rear though I have since got new adapters (Shimanos) and Alligator rotors £16 each.
They are amazingly responsive so good in fact, I have flipped, bailed and pinged three or four times cos I have thrown the front brake on too quickly!!!
