  I think there are some clubs to do with Hamsterley Forest but I've never gotten round to joining a local club. Got you down as the East Midlands there. You North East now are you? You can update your account which will mean you get all the NE trails and riders showing up which is handy for meeting people and finding new places to ride.

  I like the idea of endurance downhill. I'd like to enter the Mega but as a teacher can't get the time off mid-week. I'm racing in the Whinlatter Challenge tomorrow but like yourself not sure if it's my thing with all the climbing.
  
  I've not long moved to the north-east, so far the riding seems good. Do you know of any clubs in the area that meet regularly?

  you a wanabe enduro racer? I've been considering it. Did a XC race the other year. Not my thing. Too much forest road and long climbs.
