Hi Mate, Check out this link its the 2009 Stinky. One good thing is you buy it with a single chainring but the paintjob is rubbish! http://www.konaworld.com/09_stinky_en.cfm

Hi Mate, I have decided to keep my Kona, I took it off eBay this morning. Something tells me that I would regret it in the long run. I have tried forums to find people to ride with but I dont want to come across like "please ride with me I have no fiends" !!!! Thanks for your offer to ride Aston and I would be well up for it. Duel Stinky Action! About your hubs my rear one has the same problem. From what I can gather its not a problem with Kona bikes more Shimano hubs. I have had the rear wheel off halfway down a trail to tighten the bearings. Dave

thats a shame fella, riding alone is cool but not all the time....have you tried the forums to find people in your area that ride? or local riding groups/clubs?

Sounds quality mate, it was a very hot weekend. Randomly I was in the snow in the Milton Keynes snow dome! I might be selling my Stinky. I have a problem that as I ride alone 99% of the time im not really enjoying it. back in the day (late 90's) I used to ride in a big group but no-one rides these days. I might buy a street / dirt bike to play on in town. My nearest trails for DH are 15 miles away and when your on your own its esier to be lazy and play GTA IV !!!!

Hi Mate, I bought the E13 STS (street trail security). Its a good bet as it come with an adapter plate for frames that dont have ISCG mounts. As the Kona has no mounts I thought I was the best option. You can keep your MotoX cranks and 36T ring. I did change my ring to the E13 as its offset and runs smoother with the guide. I think I paid about £110 for the guide and £30 for the ring so its not cheap.

Cool, let me know mate. I will have to get myself sorted and get up there soon before the summer ends. (Not that it's really started!)

Hi Mate, Been riding quite a bit recently but only on my local hill - which at 15 miles away is not that local! We have been having lots of problems with chavs breaking into cars up there and following people home to rob their bikes. I havent been to Cwmcarn yet, looks mint though! Only takes just over an hour to get there for good old Gloucestershire! Dave
