I like it all. XC for fitness, DH for fun! I am still learning alot at the mo, just trying to step up to doubles from tabletops - so I can play with the big kids :D Hill Head is quite nearby - bring yer bike next time and let me know - we'll drag you out for a ride!!!

France is good (Les Gets/Morzine is all good fun), the trails arent the best maintained - and I cant say much for the locals...... However - Whistler - JESUS. Its like heaven LOL. The bike park is amazing, its well maintained and SO well organised. The trails and skills parks in the bike park are built to ride, not like France, where its like.... "Sacrebleu! the English dogs have stopped skiing here and giving us money! Lets call these pistes "bike trails" and continue making euros!" All the XC trails in and around Whistler are epic too. Canadians are amazing, they are as freindly as Americans - but amazingly not as annoying! And the resort is wicked too, lots of beer and dancing! Best holiday of my life - came back half a stone lighter, a hell of a lot poorer and with various bruises/breakages. Couldnt have asked for more! LOL. So, what type of riding are you into? I'm assuming FR/DH?

Hmmm curious... it really exists... Well I'm not completely convinced, but I'll have take your word for it! http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl There's not much near here, but within 2 hours of driving (at speed) we can get to Cwm Carn. So its tolerable! We did have a great little place called Rogate/Coombe Hill on our doorstep - but the forestry comission have taken that back and are due to flatten it any time soon! :( We mainly just have Queen Elizabeth Country Park - which - if you know where to look, has some awesome descents, drops and techy bits! Have you been abroad riding??
