Chainbreakers Trails - Yorkshire & Humberside

There's only about 20 jumps but they are very very well built. Heights vary from 3 to 5 feet with gaps of 7 to 14 feet. The bombholes linking each trail are larger than average enable almost all jumps to be tricked.

Take offs and landings are smooth, wide and squared off nicely.

They are a bit exposed so don't bother if the weather is bad. Both BMX and Mountain Bikes are welcome.

Head out to Sheffield and take the A621 South West. Follow this for about 5 miles through Millhouses, then Beauchief. Pass Dore Railway Station (on your left) and stay on the main road. Don't follow the right hand turn that is signposted 'Dore 1'. Just head straight on towards the Chrysler garage. Turn left up 'Twentywell Lane' (the sign is a bit overgrown!). Cross the railway and park immediately on the right in front of the gate. Follow the 'Public Footpath' sign up the hill for 100 yeards and you're there.

Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
