Trail Stats

Carlton Bank Trails is a good fun DH track which is maintained with permission from the land owner. You start the track at the highest point on the hill which gives an amazing panoramic view of the surrounding area. The trail starts by following the ridgeline of the hill then into a couple of rocky switchbacks then its on the cranks for the top double but don't come up short as this has eaten many a rear rim, then you are into a right hander followed by a rocky section into more swtchbacks on through the top rock garden keeping momentum for the small hipped double, round more gravel off camber corners into the left then down the rock garden, sharp left then on the gas for the stepdown (experience required), drift round the right hander as fast as possible to clear the rock jump, over the footpath into 2 fast bermed corners then straight down to a left hander and into the banked right hander, over the small jump through the bog, over the path gap and sprint to the finish.

There are plans for us to build more trails over the winter of 2008/09, please take any litter away with you and be pleasant to walkers and other riders alike.
