Trail Description

Hopton's most exciting downhill runs are for the seasoned mountain bikers only. The berms, descents, jumps and turns will test the skills of even the most experienced riders in search of thrills. A waterproof mountain bike trail guide is available for £1 and available from the Secret Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms or from the Forestry Commission's District Office please ring 01889 586593 for details.

The Forestry Commission in conjunction with Pearce Cycles offers mountain bike uplift weekends, it is essential to make a booking. For further details contact Pearce cycles on 01584 876016.

Hopton Wood is situated eight miles west of Craven Arms (Postcode: SY7 0QF), off the B4385 to Clun adjacent to the village of Hopton Castle.
