A 14 mile way-marked circuit, with connecting routes to several villages, including Parkend. Follows wide gravelled tracks and is suitable for riding all year round. Mostly level gradients with some short climbs and suitable for all ages and abilities. Passes near Beechenhurst Lodge, which has a large cafe and toilet facilities.
The trail can be accessed from several places, but from Parkend; pick up the connecting trail by the timber yard, which will lead you into the Cannop Valley and onto the Family Trail circuit. The route is way-marked, although it is recommended that you purchase an official route-map; available from Pedalabikeaway, Beechenhurst Lodge or the Tourist Information Centre in Coleford.
