Trail Description

Kielder Castle has a skills area, small bike park and is home to the car park for the Deadwater trails as well the Purple Mountain Bike hire centre. Near by you'll find a pub, tea rooms and small shop. It will cost you £3 to park a car.

The skills area has easy, advanced and expert graded lines with wooden northshore features, bermed corners and rock gardens. You'll get a taste of what you can expect to find out on the trails so it's the place to go if you're new to mountain biking or you're looking to move up to a more advanced skill level.

The bike park is named Trials Park and is divided into three main sections. A raised wooden northshore area, a small trials area with large rocks and wooden features as well as a small freeride style line of jumps with berms and a small drop.
