Kings Highway Trail - Cumbria & Lancashire

The Kings Highway Mountain Bike Trail can get very muddy, so don't do this trail unless you like getting filthy! You start at the quarry and follow the route paralel to the motorway, if you cant hear the trafic youve gone to far east. Keep going untill you reach the top part of Haslingden where you can either turn back or go down the road through Baxenden back to Accrington or just go back the way you came. This trail is basically its a bit of a free cross country route with a few boggy bits.

Trail Summary
Trail/Track Location

If you use google earth look for a town called Accrington. One mile east from Accrington and just south of Huncoat there is a quarry (also a good place) and it basicly starts there heading south along the Kings Highway till it gets muddy.
