Trail Description

Hessenford Woods, near Liskeard in Cornwall contains currently three downhill mountain bike trails

Super Tech Downhill trail is a steep track with challenging sections that may not be suitable for riders who are unconfident with roots or steep sections of trail. Large kicker built at the end of trail, no gap but fairly large for those not comfortable with big jumps. (1/2km to 1km)

Tech Track Downhill trail is a tighter, narrower version of the Super Tech Track. Unlike Super Tech, it has few roots and has many tight turns. There are two fast off camber sections in the middle and at the bottom of the track, which are always fun to test you nerve on, especially when the conditions are not in your favour. (1/2km to 1km)

Mild Chedder Downhill trail is fairly flat and fast track compared to the steeper technical tracks of Super Tech and Tech. It features a fairly tight, but fast top section. Then across a rock garden to a drop, which leads into a fast flowy section of wide open turns. The track then finishes in a gap over a stream, there is also a chicken run around this which goes over some slippery roots. (1/2km to 1km)
