Gorlech Trail - Brechfa - South Wales

Gorlech mountain bike trail, named after the river Gorlech what this trail delivers in views and scenery it certainly backs up with terrain and excitement.

Carefully designed by Rowan Sorrell (accomplished rider and trial designer), the Gorlech Trail takes design and construction to new levels, the trail is a hard, fast, all weather surface which becomes more and more exciting as your skill level and speed progresses.

Soon you'll be railing the perfectly sculpted berms and huge switchbacks, jumping the step up jumps and tabletops and grinning all the way to the bottom of the exhilarating final descent. The Gorlech red route firmly puts Brechfa on the MTB Wales map as another top destination.

Abergorlech is on the B4310 some 10 miles north east of carmarthen and 8 miles north of Llandeilo. From the East: Leave the A48 at the junction for the National Botanic Garden and follow the B4310 to Nantgaredig and then on to Brechfa. Abergorlech is 4 miles east of Brechfa with the Forestry car park clearly signposted. From Carmarthen take the A40 towards Llandeilo and take the B4310 to Brechfa at Nantgaredig. From the northeast you leave the A40 at Llanwrda 3 miles south of Llandovery and follow the A482 to Crugybar after which you follow signs to Llansawel and onto the B4310 to Abergorlech.
