17km of red-graded route has elements of just about everything you need for a classic ride: a good place to talk bike on site, a mixture of classy mature woodland, open areas for you to get to grips with some pretty views – that is if you can look up from the challenging technical trails that have been provided for you to enjoy.
There is singletrack natural and pure, 7stanes quality created trail, wooden 'North shore' style sections, a memorable burn splash, unforgettable climbs and spine-tingling descents.
The route is now in its second year and is settling in nicely with some recent improvements to the notorious bad step. While most of the route is weather-proof, the ridge remains a natural section, so it pays to ride in dry weather to get the best out of it.
