Deers Leap Park Trails, just south of East Grinstead in Sussex has 240 acres of dedicated mountain bike tracks of every grade from family-friendly trails to single track and north shore in the woods.
These mountain bike trails are old school mucking about in the woods - xc style. Muddy as hell in winter, but fun, uncrowded and now some boardwalk/shore style stuff appearing too. Use the broader tracks to get to the real fun stuff tucked away in the woods. Only a couple of quid to ride, and they throw in a map and a bike wash. Ideal for a quick pootle if you're in the area.

Deers Leap is just south of the triangular junction at Saint Hill Green. Go South for about 150 metres and you'll see the gate on your right (west side), with two blue signs. Go in here and double back on yourself; park just beyond the gate where indicated

Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
