Surfin Dirt 4X Track - Northern Ireland

Surfin Dirt is an innovative new 4X downhill mountainbike track has just opened at Surfin' Dirt, near Bryansford, Newcastle.

Around 400m long and featuring table jumps, gaps, rollers and bermed corners. An uplift trailer means Mountian bikers can save their energy for bombing down the hill all day long.

Surfin’ Dirt is situated between the villages of Bryansford and Kilcoo in County Down, N Ireland, on the Tullyree Road. Travelling from Belfast: Leave the city on the A24 towards Carryduff, Ballynahinch and Newcastle. At Clough turn right onto the A25 towards Castlewellan. In the town of Castlewellan turn left at the roundabout onto the A50 for Newcastle. 2 miles along, turn right onto the B180, towards Bryansford and Hilltown. Once through the village of Bryansford, take the second road to the right, which is signposted for Kilcoo. The Surfin’ Dirt track is 200 yards along on the right. Travelling from Newry: Leave the city taking the B8 for Hilltown and Newcastle. Travelling through Mayobridge and Hilltown, continue until the end of the B8. Turn right at the T-junction towards Kilcoo. In Kilcoo, you will see a fork in the road to the right, just past the church on the left, this fork is the Tullyree Road, which you should follow to the end. As you reach the forest at the end of the road, you will see the Surfin’ Dirt track on the left.
