Hamsterley 4X is run by Descend Hamsterley Mountain Bike Cub and is located up on the south side of Hamsterley forest. The spot is very exposed and can be affected by wind meaning the weather is a key factor to consider if you're planning a visit.
The 4X track starts with a big roll-in followed by three table top jumps which lead to a banked corner, over a hipped kicker and around the bermed left hander, from here there are multiple line choices with singles, doubles, triples and a couple of rhythm sections thrown in for good measure. It's a sweet short rollercoaster of a course.
To ride you need to pay at the cabin down at the bottom of the 4x track. This covers your insurance and your car parking fee.
