Trail Description

Treehugger is the latest development at Bathpool Bikepark and is based on a slopestyle course. the trail starts with a platform onto a fallen beech tree where you ride along the trunk and down a branch into a 5 foot drop. The trail then opens out into a field of bracken where there is a wooden 30ft long 180 degree raised berm/wall ride with a 5 foot drop off the end onto a wooden landing ramp.

There is then a wooden kicker followed by 2 switch back berms onto a fallen birch tree skinny. If you make it along the skinny there is another 50ft long narrow northshore platform onto a seasaw. After slowing down for this technical section you speed right up for a big sweeping 180 degree berm leading to the biggest stunt on the trail - a 40ft long raised dish with a monster lip on the end. Take off is 8ft high and the gap is at least 20ft.

We are currently building more lines to make it more like a slopestyle course and are laying hardcore and chicken wire down to make it an all weather trail.

Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
