The Red Fox trail at Lecht Ski Centre, is the first of many trails due to be built at the centre, with the scope for a development of much longer trails going down to Tomintoul and the forests of Glenlivet.
The Red Fox trail has been designed by Pete Laing, as a intermediate trail, which is 1.6k mountain bike downhill track which includes some berms, drop offs and some table top jumps.
A skills park is being opened very shortly, with various obstacles and the second trail a 'blue' run will be open at the end of June.
The Lecht is based at 2090 ft on the A939 between Cockbridge and Tomintoul, and then access to the Mountain Bike trails is with a 3 man chairlift which takes you up another 700 ft.

Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
