Trail Description

Uppermill Quarry is as it suggest is in Uppermill in Saddleworth.

This jump spot is an unofficial development built up over the last ten years or so by various local riders, the trails are fun to ride with different lines and sizes of jump to try out. Currently there are seven doubles and one tabletop jump but work is in progress for more information please visit the facebook group for dig & ride days.

Uppermill quarry is actually classified as a nature reserve and an area of scientific / biological special interest, the local riders have an informal arrangement with the local countryside service to keep the riding area tidy and contained within a set boundary. Please help us to keep this area by adhering to the points above and IMBAs rules of the trail. Working with the authorities on sites like tis can help to create future purpose built mountain bike trails in the Oldham and Saddleworth area.
