Peat DH Trail, near Fort William is good for a casual mountain ride. Its downhill a downhill trail, slightly rocky and can be ridden fast to take advantage of natural features or just pottered down for a good ride or for the down hill training.
It has a bit of everything, starting off in the trees above Glen Nevis with magic views of Ben Nevis, then descends down to the Braveheart car park though the forest with open rocky sections and some natural doubles and table tops for the riders who like to get a bit of air. Well worth a quick visit if you are passing.
