Cranham Wood is a large area of woodland near Stroud, which contain a series of downhill trails, and single track.
The woods are popular with local riders and provide a good days riding, with the trails consisting of rooty and rocky sections, and there are some steep bomb holes around the woods to play around in.
You can also combine a days riding at Cranham with Leckhampton Hill which has plenty of variety in a small area.
PLEASE NOTE: that in Cranham Wood, Buckholt Wood, Rough Park, Popes Wood mountain bikes are permitted on bridleways only. Owners and Nature Reserve Managers are now enforcing this on all days of the week.
