It comes in Black, White, Violet, Purple and Silver so the range of colours cater for every eye.
NS Bikes are once again providing Dirt with a consistency of manufacture & will give any of its competitors a run for their money when it comes to statement!!
COOL RATING – 4/5
Typically consistent of a NS product at a great price for its quality…Outstanding.
Nookie Bikes Playa in blue - £49.99
www.nookiebikes.co.uk
NEW BRAND Nookie are about to influx the Dirt scene in time for Christmas and challenge the best current pedal brands around in the good looking stakes!
They come in a hot range of Anodized colours with slick design & are great value for money at mid-market price range due to the quality of finish.
Durable 6061 Alloy in Green, Purple, blue, Red, Silver and Black give the rider confidence as well as a heavy dose of cool!
COOL RATING – 4/5
An all rounder for reliability, for a mid price pedal with anodized finish they are an absolute steal, a brand to seriously watch!
NS Bikes Aerial in Purple - £49.99
www.nsbikes.com
A great little Die Cast Alloy, heavier than it's sister at 450 grams but oozing with the same sleek design of the Aerial Pro.
It offers Black, White, Purple, Orange and Blue so a hearty choice of colour options, but the colours are a bit flat and don't shout out. Having said that Powder Coating doesn't always give the WOW factor and is a matter of personal choice/opinion.
COOL RATING – 3.5/5
A good buy, impressively tough & versatile colour options at an affordable price.
DMR V12 in Chrome - £51.99
www.dmrbikes.com
Again a mid-price range competitor for the Dirt pedal market. It's a bit of a chunky monkey at 536 grams, but if you don't mind the 'curvier' look you know you can rely on DMR's quality & it will probably endure the hardest of falls and out live your granny.
The V12 offers Black, White, Polished Silver (which looks wicked), Sky Blue, Chrome, Green and Oxblood so a broad choice of colours.
COOL RATING – 2.5/5
Quite a dated look but DMR have been around for a long time and know their market so cater for all tastes.
Atom Lab Pimp in Red - £74.99
www.atomlab.com
Love the name. Atom Lab are on it when it comes to grabbing the market via innovation. Good performance pedals that in their own words are 'tough as hell' live up to the expectation.
Anodized colours in Green, Red and Black, look current and the quality is paramount.
The downside to this pedal is that they are big!! It's as if they had Bigfoot on a bike in mind, again this is down to personal opinion and this is by no means a design flaw.
COOL RATING – 2.5/5
Not the coolest looking pedal around but it's just doing its job and not trying to make a fashion statement.
Coming soon - Longterm tests on other big brand products, MoreDirt takes 'the review' to the next level and gets them out on the track.

I'm running superstar Nano techs on both bikes. The Nano techs on my specialized pitch have been on for about 14 months and the sealed bearings are still running as if they were new, the pins are all still in place. They are certainly the best pedals I have tried. The Nano techs on my Norco dh are the through pin ones and have only had a few outings but I'm sure they will last too.

eight loss and bike riding.
If you want to lose weight bike riding is one of the best ways to do it, riding at a casual pace you can burn up to 400 CPH. High intensity riding you can burn upto 600 CPH compared to walking riding for weight loss far exceeds the calories burnt to time spent exercising.
Cycling is also is very-low impact on your joints compared to walking and running. This will allow you to increase muscle tone and size with no injury to your joints. Everyone wants to look good in shorts cycling is one of the best ways to achieive it.
One thing about bikes is getting the right size bike and frame for your style of riding, if you have a bike that is the wrong size for you you can cause injuries to yourself over time because of bad posture and riding position.
If you are going to start riding bikes for weight loss always go to a Local Bike Shop to get the best bike suited to your situation.
Good luck with your weight loss journey.

I've been running dmr V8 pedals for the last year or so.they have grease ports so you can keep the loose bearings inside smooth. I found my feet ached after longish descents. I'm using quite soled shoes. Nike 6.0 seem to be more of a trainer than a riding shoe. The V8's began clicking a lot under pedaling so just got some Azonic flats to see what they're like.
