i think its time for bike number 3 i think a FR/DH bike for around £500-600.

got a faith myself, and can't fault it. rides very, very well and is bombproof. plus i think they look the dogs danglies. but i could be acused of being biased lol.

theres a nice looking norco a-line on ebay for £550 or a couple of marin quake 7.0 freeride bikes for around 700 might be worth a look mate

yeah ive seen a few i like but i may save a lil more closer to the £1000 mark but just window shopping atm

Check out the February issue of MBUK. They 'Wrecked & Rated' budget bikes and the Halford's Carrera Vulcan won by a mile. That would seem like a good bet for your price range.

I rented a Cannondale Gemini for a couple of days, in 2008. It was a Gemini 2000. It felt mad high at the front and BB, and suffered badly from 'brake jack'. But for £250, maybe worth a punt?
